The India’s great warrior of Shivaji Shahaji Bhosale born in 19th February 1630 in the fort of Shivneri. Raja Shivaji Maharaj was formally crowned as the CHATRAPATI of his empire at Rajgad. Name of Shivaji was given by his mother in honour of the goddess Shivai. Shivaji’s father Shahaji Bhosale was a Maratha general and mother name was Jijabai daughter of Lkakhujhirav Jadhav.
Shivaji’s maharaj life was deeply interested in religious because of his mother who was deeply devoted in religious so impact on shivaji’s life was more religious. Shivaji was carefully studied two great hindu epic i.e. RAMAYANA and MAHABHARTA.
The victory made Shivaji a hero of Maratha folklore and a legendary figure among his people. Shivaji demonstrate his skill about the wars was great in military organization and also in navy.He was one of the pioneers of commando actions like GAMINI KAVA.
In today’s days also Shivaji Maharaj remains real king in India.Most of the times Shivaji Maharaj remains a political icon everywhere mostly in state of Maharashtra.
In March 1680 Shivaji fell ill with dysentery and fever dying around 3-5 April 1680 at the age of 52. He was a peerless hero, a pious and God-fearing king and verily a manifestation of all the virtues of a born leader of men described in our ancient scriptures. He also embodied the deathless spirit of our land and stood as the light of hope for our future.
