Phoolan Devi

Phoolan devi also popularly known as Bandit Queen. She was from small village of Ghura ka Purwa in Jalaun District, Uttar Pradesh State.

She was a legendary dacoit who later became a female rights activist and politician in the Samajwadi Party who later served as Member of Parliament.

Again for she elected as a member of parliament in 1999 – 25 July 2001 from Mirzapur constituency
