Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Bhavan in Dadar, Mumbai was started initially by Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar as a press and library to print and disseminate the anti caste literature. Later on, Ambedkar Bhavan became as a big press, book stall and meeting halls, rooms and space for public and private events of Ambedkarite and other progressive groups in Mumbai.
Buddha Bhushan Printing press was continue to run from this premises. Where all the weekly magazines get printed and published here.
In the month of June this historic monument early morning with an escort of more than 500 police and other security personnel the government authorities have demolished the building of Dr. Ambedkar Bhavan.
